Clipper Grooming
Can any one suggest a good brand of clipper for grooming dogs?
I have a Bichon/Shih tzu/Yorkie x and i would like to groom him myself but i don't know what a good brand of clipper would be. He has wavy hair and its not extremely thick. I would probably groom him once a month and I don't want to spend tons of money on a professional clipper.
as well as the clippers would anyone know of somewhere where i could learn how to cut my dogs hair correctly and learn how to use the clippers? I have checked out a few places but most often the course is for if you want a career of grooming dogs not just learning how to groom a family pet.

Oster or Andes. Then you will need to know the which size blades and guard to use, and how to take care of the blades and clippers. I am just going to suggest this, unless you know what you are doing it is not as easy as it looks. If you are not extremely careful with clippers you can burn your dog. Plus those cute little hair cuts that we groomers give take lots of practice. Not to mention the anal glands and the toe nails and all that fun stuff.
